My first time here last night and I was really impressed! The acoustics were great, the stage fantastic, the staff friendly and professional, as well as the seats comfortable. Really enjoyed the production here last night, hope there’s another opportunity one day! Perfectly convenient location in town too.
A really lovely theatre for musicals! Our musical, Unforgotten, staged by Musical Theatre Limited, had great support from the live orchestra in the pit by the stage, and the acoustics were great even for the quiet-speaking actors playing frail elderly people with PTSD in the Home. The seats were comfortable and overall, we had a good time.
Was there to watch the play by Checkpoint theatre and also to support our friend who is 1 of the actors. It was my 1st time at the Drama Centre. Nice place n clean. We had a quick bite at Hanis at the ground floor. But, if u are parking there pls leave before 10.30pm before they lock it up.
It is a great intimate theatre with an incredible performance of Cabaret!
Sadly, it loses a star as no drinks are allowed in the theatre, and the bar sold us wine 5 mins before performance and didn't think to tell us we couldn't take it inside.

First time here. Would say it is a small theatre, decent seats but not the greatest sound system and seats are not elevated enough thus you can be blocked if you are tiny and there is a tall big person in front of you. Thankfully the show I watched was entertaining and the stage players were amazing enough to provide a great experience. (Watched Urinetown).
Not the most comfortable seats at and i am petite so thank God for intermission time.Very entertaining 39Steps drama by 4 talented and passionate performers.Kudos to Mr Memory
We had a Buskers Connect session with the National Crts Council of Singapore. I found the venue quiet and conducive for meetings. Easily accessed with public transport. Ample parking with handicap lots and wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps.
